The Humane Party is a registered political party in the United States. It was founded in 2009 on Earth Day April 22nd. It is comprised of volunteers committed to causes such as animal rights, environmental impact, and social justice. The party only accepts contributions from private citizens. We view ourselves as the party of science and ethics and an essential alternative to the ingrained speciesism of the main political party systems.  
It is our endeavor for the Humane Vision 2021 to provide support for vegan political candidates seeking New York City Council seats under other parties in the 2021 election to make compassion for animals a central tenet of NYC politics.
